Hailing from Tampa, Keilah coalesced under the creative pen and intricate guitar fretwork of Austin Curry and Travis Hearne, joined by Sean Anderson on guitar and Cannon Hearne on percussion.  With the mission of advancing God’s Kingdom through an innovative and inspired music ministry, Keilah’s sophisticated lyrics, impressive musicianship, and tight vocal harmonies earned them the 2004 Gospel Music Association Song of the Year Award for “Evangeline.”  Keilah has played with Ashley Cleveland, opened for the Burns Sisters, performed at Cornerstone, and are regularly scheduled worship leaders at Van Dyke Methodist Church Liquid contemporary service and Compass Ministry of Safety Harbor. They fall loosely in the genre of acoustic rock but are quite unlike anything you have heard before.  If, after hearing them, your heart is uplifted, if you are reminded or for the first time think God truly loves you, then they have accomplished their mission.
