Profile:
Vince Legut has been writing songs since the 60's when he started strumming a Stella
guitar that was his brother's. Since that time Vince has written over 1000 songs.
He began to practice the art of Multi-Track recording early. Starting out using two
machines, progressing to a mulit-track reel, to a Teac 3340S, to an ADAT to the PC.
Currently looking to expand his home studio (www.vlastudios.com) to Pro Tools and perhaps
Mackie equipment. He offers mobile recording production using the Adat. His unique talent
for live mixing and production adds a new dimension to recording projects.
Vince lived in Chicago until 1987 and moved into the Ormond Beach area at that time. He
played with the Savages, The Starliner Band, THRUSH, The Tunesmiths, VLA and The Jonny
Sands Band.
He was past president of The Casements Songwriter's Workshop and currently involved with
NSAI. He is a registered writer/publisher with BMI
Plan to see him in October at the Deland Festival.
