The SSA will begin to hold a
series of Song Camps throughout FL. (3-4 per year.) The main mission
of these camps is to unite together other musicians and songwriters
in a casual camping like environment. When we put on the large city
festivals its hard to be able to sit down and get to know the
festival participants being we are so busy taking care of the events
tasks at hand. These camps are designed to do just the opposite. We
want them to basically require no work at all other then what you
would have to do to prepare for a night of camping out at a park or
campground. We simply want to be able to sit back and relax and get
to spend some good quality time with other songwriters and
musicians.
The first song camp will be held at THE FARM in Ormond
Beach, FL on Saturday TBA at 11am and end on Sunday TBA at 6pm. The
Farm offers a very hip private event space with a very awesome
vibe. The property owners keep adding enhancements to the
over 5 acres of land including a large covered outdoor stage,
and other low key acoustic performance areas. The camps
will be reserved to SSA members only (participants at SSA
festivals) and space is limited. The first camp will be limited
to 50 campers.

Reservations will be taken online on a first come basis. Once
the spaces are filled we will indicate that it has on this
page.
Cost is $30 per person
or $75 per band and 100% of the funds received goes
towards supporting The Farm.

*One large covered stage with PA system provided for
scheduled performances and open jams and collaborations
*2-3 Acoustic stage areas for informal performing
*Misc. Recreational activities. (Horseshoes, Volley
Ball, Corn Hole etc.)
* Saturday Night Bon Fire
*Sunday Morning Yoga
*Nature Trails
*Covered Eating Area
*Songwriting Workshops and Song Evaluations
