Compensation: One of the SSA's objective's is to create revenue streams for original music artist. The most effective compensation options for this event comes from individual ticket sales. All acts that are scheduled to perform at the festival are given an initial amount of event tickets to sell ($400 value) 15 hard tickets and 10 online referral credit and keep 100% of the revenue collected. Participating acts can also sell an unlimited amount of tickets thereafter for 50% commission. Acts also receive 40% commission on all event sponsorship refereed. Acts can also obtain individual sponsorship for there act and set there own pricing We will email you the sponsorship rate sheet after you register which you can review and determine if you wish to seek individual or event sponsors.

Registration Fees:
Membership/registration fees goes towards event coordinating cost, promotion and advertising expenses, production costs and other misc. expenses that are necessary to guarantee that this event is a success.
-If you registered and performed at an SSA event in the past your registration fee is

$20 solo act and $30 Band (2 or more in your group)
-If you have not been a SSA member (never have performed at any SSA Festival) in the past the fee is $25 and $35 Band (2 or more in your group)
SSA AWARD RECIPIENTS: If you have received an SSA award from 2000-present your submission fee is waived. Please simply skip the payment page after you submit. Award Recipients are listed at http://ssa.cc/awards.htm Nominations each year begin in July.

*Sets must comprise of at least 80% of Original Material (this generally translates to one cover song per 40 min set)
*All acts should arrive at least one hour prior to scheduled set times.
* Event Tickets Sales is prohibited on the day of the event any where throughout the festival other then at the main gate or pre approved event ticket outlet by an SSA Staff member .
* Acts should have all equipment properly marked in case items are lost or stolen.
